Korie Rose is a producer and editor for Newsy's "The Why." He is a broadcast and digital veteran who most recently worked at PeerForward, a college access nonprofit based in D.C. Previously, he worked at local TV stations in D.C. and North Carolina, and was the senior traffic producer for radio stations in the Raleigh and Greensboro markets. Fun fact: Korie’s journalism career began in 2000 as a kid reporter for Children's Express, where he covered the 2000 presidential recount in Florida and the inauguration of President George W. Bush.
