Andrew Shafer is a senior photographer who collaborates with his Scripps News colleagues to tell visually enticing national and international stories. He began his career freelancing in the film industry and running live newscasts for KSHB in his hometown of Kansas City. Since coming to Scripps News, Andrew has produced some of his own stories and hopes to tell more, especially those revolving around the film and craft beer industries.
