North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will reportedly travel to South Korea "soon."

That's what South Korean President Moon Jae-in said in a speech to lawmakers Thursday. The two leaders announced plans for Kim to visit Seoul back in September.

Although Kim crossed over the border into the neighboring country during their first summit in April — this trip would make him the first North Korean leader to visit South Korea's capital since the end of the Korean War.

Moon's comment on Kim's upcoming visit came the same day the two countries implemented a no-fly zone and halted "all hostile acts" along the Demilitarized Zone.

The two countries have also gradually been removing guard posts and land mines from the area.
