Special counsel Robert Mueller's team says former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort violated his bail agreement.

In a Monday court filing, Mueller's team said it didn't support the $11 million bail deal struck just a few days ago

The filing said Mueller's team found out Manafort was working with a Russian colleague on an editorial "regarding his political work for Ukraine."

According to the filing, Manafort's colleague was "assessed to have ties to a Russian intelligence service," and the editorial "would be a violation" of a court order barring Manafort and his lawyers "from making statements that could interfere with the fair trial."

Manafort has been under house arrest since he was indicted on charges of money laundering, tax fraud and failure to register as a foreign agent.
