Today's dating scene can be emotionally exhausting and puts a premium on physical attraction. However, people with disabilities can have an especially difficult time finding a relationship.
The New York Times says those with disabilities have a lower rate of marriage compared to the general population. They also fight the misconception that disabilities hamper sexuality and interest in seeking a partner.
But dating sites and organizations are trying to help the disability community find friendship and love, like Glimmer, which hopes to stand out from the typical dating app.
