Deadly Attacks Wreak Havoc At 2 Major Sites In Iran's Capital

Several deaths and dozens of injuries have been reported after armed attackers stormed two major locations in Iran's capital of Tehran on Wednesday.

According to local media, Iran's parliament building and the tomb of the nation's revolutionary Islamic leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini came under siege at the same time.

The attackers reportedly opened fire and detonated suicide bombs at both sites.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the twin attacks, though authorities haven't announced an official link between the assailants and the terrorist group.

If ISIS is responsible, these would be the first major attacks coordinated by the group in Iran.
